change the file format. (little drop-down box below the filename.) If MS Word97
isn't listed there, run the WP10 installation again and check for that
add-on--or go to Corel and see if conversion updates are available. I know my

could think of that happened differently is while i was in
a website, I got a message saying that spyware was
detected and asked if i wanted to delete it. I
clicked "yes" and after that, I got a message that
said "yahoo messenger has been successfully deleted." I
continued what i was doing and shut down the computer
before i went to bed. This morning when i went to put it
on, it boots, I hear the "windows chime", then the start
bar flashes for a split second and all i get is my
wallpaper with no icons or start bar. It just hangs
there. I tried right clicking anywhere on the wallpaper
but right click isn't working either. I tried starting in
Safe Mode and the same thing happens. Can someone help me

After loading a game and rebooting, my W98 (SE) system

as 'possible' devices in relation to this inquiry. i have no red X's or
exclamation icons in my device list. although i do have an exclamation mark
listed in other devices as my pci ethernet controller, as i have not
installed drivers for it. i have nothing to plug into the port, and no way of

as well just reinstall IE first, to see whether that does it.

of the system files, which include the Registry.
Or there is a home-made method of restoring the Registry that is set up on
the PC, and which you triggered accidentally.
The Registry is out of date, so you have to remove the affected devices in
the Device Manager and the programs and program names, and reinstall them.
